Client Portal Privacy

This addendum supplements the Privacy Policy already in place for the Levity store on Shopify. That policy covers your orders, payments, and website visits. This page covers the client portal.

What the portal collects

Account info: your name and email, so you can log in.
Check-ins: the written answers you submit about how things are going.
Optional extras: weight, measurements, and progress photos. These are off by default and completely optional. You choose whether to share them, and coaching works fine without them.
Messages: private messages between you and Abbi.
Community posts: anything you post on the community boards.
Activity and stars: workouts done, PRs you log, rest days and meals you mark, and the display name you choose for the boards.

Who can see it

Check-ins, weight, measurements, and messages: only you and Abbi.
Progress photos: private. Only you and Abbi. They are never used in marketing or shared without your separate written permission.
Community posts: visible to other members and clients of the portal. Do not post anything you would not want them to see.
Showing Up wall: when you submit a check-in, finish a workout, log a PR, or post, your display name and that kind of star can show on the community wall. Your real name, weight, measurements, photos, and check-in answers never do. You can hide yourself from the wall in your settings. Rest-day and meal stars are only seen by you and Abbi.
We do not sell your information.

Our assistant

Posts on the Questions board may be sent to an AI service provided by Anthropic so the assistant can draft a reply. Only Questions-board posts are processed this way, not your private check-ins, photos, or messages. Abbi's guidance shapes the answers, and the assistant is not a substitute for medical advice.

Email notices

When you send Abbi a private message, our email provider (Resend) sends Abbi an alert that a new message is waiting. The alert never includes what you wrote or any check-in details. Login and invite emails to you are sent from hello@levitybyabbi.com through Supabase and Resend. The portal does not otherwise email you.

Where it is stored

Portal data is stored with our service providers, including Supabase (database) and Vercel (hosting), in the United States (the database is hosted in US East). Inside the portal, your private data (check-ins, weight, measurements, photos, messages) is visible only to you and Abbi. Our service providers process it only to run the portal.

Keeping and deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your portal account and data, including photos, check-ins, and messages, any time by emailing hello@levitybyabbi.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may keep payment and tax records that the law requires, and those live with Stripe and Shopify. We keep your portal data for up to 12 months after your coaching or membership ends, then delete it, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it.

Health information

Check-ins may include health-related details. Share what you are comfortable with. Levity is a coaching business and not a healthcare provider. We still treat the health details you share with care.
